Set along the legendary white sands of South Beach, Delano Miami Beach re-emerges as one of Miami’s most iconic oceanfront addresses, where Philippe Starck’s original vision is thoughtfully reimagined through a new era of elevated beachfront living following its highly anticipated 2026 reopening.
The Hotel
Delano Miami Beach’s transformation pays homage to its storied Art Deco heritage while introducing a more contemporary, residential sensibility under its new chapter. Located on Collins Avenue in the heart of South Beach, the property preserves its signature theatrical arrival and iconic architectural bones while softening the experience through warmer materials, natural textures, and a more relaxed sense of luxury. The 171-room hotel, including reimagined suites, poolside bungalows, and penthouse accommodations, has been redesigned to emphasise light, space, and calm. Interiors favour muted tones, custom furnishings, and expansive glazing that draws the ocean and city skyline into the guest experience. The result is a quieter, more intimate expression of the original Delano glamour – still unmistakably Miami, but more grounded and contemporary in its mood.
Amenities
At the centre of the hotel’s reopening is a new culinary and social ecosystem anchored by Paris Society’s first U.S. hospitality ventures. Gigi Rigolatto takes a prominent role, extending across the famed ground-floor pool. The venue blends Riviera-style indulgence with Italian coastal dining, offering a full-day experience that moves from leisurely breakfasts and poolside lunches to aperitivo hours and late-evening cocktails. Designed as a layered environment, it includes indoor dining rooms, outdoor terraces, private cabanas, a concept store, and the Bellini Bar. Exclusively for guests and members, Mimi Kakushi introduces a more discreet fourth-floor experience inspired by 1920s Osaka, pairing refined Japanese cuisine with a moody, design-led interior and an intimate members-club atmosphere focused on late-night dining and craft cocktails. The reimagined Delano also reintroduces the iconic Rose Bar, restored as a focal point for nightlife and social gatherings, alongside Café Delano, a relaxed all-day café concept. Additional amenities include a social wellness space, fitness facilities, a curated boutique, multiple pools, and direct beach access with elevated cabana service.
Beyond the property, guests are steps from South Beach’s most recognisable cultural and lifestyle destinations, including Lincoln Road and Ocean Drive, while still experiencing Delano as a secluded, design-led retreat that balances Miami’s energy with a sense of luxury living.
