Omaanda
Situated in the heart of the Zannier Reserve, a 22,000-acre wildlife conservancy, lies Omaanda, a Zannier Hotel.
The Hotel
Thanks to its incredible location, Omaanda is home to an area where you'll find elephants, giraffes, rhinos, cheetahs, leopards, plains game, and rich birdlife – offering authentic safari encounters without crowds. Blending seamlessly into its surroundings, the lodge is inspired by traditional Owambo homesteads, using natural materials such as wood, clay, and thatch. Intimate and exclusive, there are just 15 guest suites, each equipped with a private deck and fireplace – the ideal spot for sundowners.
Amenities
Though rooted in its authentic safari experience, the lodge also offers a meaningful conservation narrative, working with respected conservation NGOs and promoting ethical tourism. On site, there's a serene spa, yoga deck, and infinity pool overlooking a waterhole. While out in the wild, guests can enjoy various activities including game drives, feeding experiences, and guided nature walks.
Dining and drinking
Dining focuses on using locally sourced ingredients, with seasonal menus that highlight Namibian and African flavours. Meal times are very much a relaxed affair, often served fireside or under the stars at Ambo Delights, the atmospheric restaurant. While the Pool Bar serves cocktails, juices and light snacks between midday and sunset, and the Lounge Bar is open for evening drinks, best enjoyed with stories shared around the Boma.
