From sweeping deserts to soaring mountains, azure seas and ancient ruins; Jordan is a place of colour and contrast. Its many historic influences: Greek, Roman, Byzantine, Muslim and Christian have resulted in an intricate blend of sights and pleasures making it a unique destination to visit. Flying into Amman you will get to know a city peppered with ancient ruins and modern flavours. You’ll be swept to a different world in the eastern part of the kingdom - to some of early Islam’s most beautiful art and zodiac domes at the Desert Castles. You’ll jump from Medieval Islamic castles to ancient Rome’s Decapolis (the Pompeii of the East). Travelling along the 5,000-year-old King’s Highway you’ll reach the moasic city of Madaba. Winding up the hills; escape the hustle at holy Mt Nebo, the alleged burial site of Moses overlooking the Jordan Valley. All this before you reach one of the world’s most treasured UNESCO sights – Petra, a hand-carved city of monumental proportions. After your eyes are full on cultural riches, you’ll be whisked to the Valley of the Moon (Wadi Rum). You’ll spend a night dining and camping in upmost luxury on this unique and wonderful landscape. You will also have the opportunity to visit the lowest place on earth – the Dead Sea. Where foams of salt cling to the cobalt blue water, this natural spa is a place of healing minerals.

  • Take a tour of the famed Wadi Rum (also known as the Valley of the Moon) desert by camel
  • Make pilgrimage to Moses’ resting place, Mt Nebo, where he saw the Promised Land
  • Soak up the plethora of early Islamic art and architecture in the rolling hills east of Amman
  • Sample the falafel, mezze, shawarmas and Arabic coffee in Amman’s cafes
  • Sleep under the stars in Bedouin tents at Wadi Rum
  • Surrounded by the Negev Desert, explore the shores of the Dead Sea as you effortlessly float in this unique natural spa
