Take the short 1 hour plus flight to Cancun, Mexico – the gateway to the beautiful Mayan river area, 1 hour to the south. We love the wonderful Esencia hotel here as your base for 5 nights. This stunning location marries the jungle to the beach – perfect for relaxation or if you want to get active the Mayan ruins of Tulum are nearby as are the cenotes for you to explore and swim in.
