Take this eco-friendly opportunity travelling by both train and cruise ship to do a tour of the 4 capital cities of Scandinavia. You will start in Copenhagen, Denmark and travel via Oslo (Norway), Stockholm (Sweden) before ending in Helsinki (Finland). You will spend 11 nights - 9 of which will be in hotels split between the cities with 2 aboard overnight cruise ships. Enjoy the mediaeval streets of Copenhagen coupled with famous sights such as the Little Mermaid. Oslo offers many sights harking back to its Viking heritage which are worth a visit and is beautifully situated surrounded by forested hills and at the mouth of the Fjords. The capital city of Stockholm is built on 14 islands meaning water is never far away - this is a city which lends itself to the outdoor life and offers stunning buildings such as City Hall plus the Gamla Stan (old town) has to be explored. You will finish in Helsinki; explore the Senate, city hall and admire the beautiful Uspenski Cathedral. You'll end on high having experienced a great snapshot of Scandinavia. Scandinavia’s capital cities have so much to offer and what better way to take them in, in relaxed style – travelling by boat and train?

  • Arrive into Copenhagen, Denmark where you will stay for 2 nights – explore the streets and enjoy some of the famous Danish cuisine
  • After enjoying Denmark you will depart mid afternoon to enjoy the overnight ferry to Oslo, Norway before arriving into this pretty capital.
  • Explore Oslo perhaps by taking a sightseeing tour taking in the main parts of the city
  • After leaving Oslo you will catch the train and travel in comfort to Stockholm, Sweden where you will spend 3 nights.
  • There is plenty to occupy your time in Stockholm, enjoy a cruise on the archipelago or walk around the cool neighbourhood of Sodermalm.
  • You will take another overnight ferry from Sweden across to Helsinki, the Finnish capital where you will enjoy your last 2 nights
