Governors Camp

With years of experience and a location in the heart of an ideal viewing area, Governor’s Camp is a safari camp featuring impeccable service and luxury accommodations. A prime location and an abundance of wildlife led this location to be a reserved, private location for Kenya’s colonial Governors for centuries prior to becoming a luxury camp for worldly travellers. Built along the Mara River, guests can enjoy luxurious tented accommodations on the river bank providing soothing sounds and private escapes with views sweeping across the plain of Masai Mara. In addition to the personalised tents, there are two tents featuring a bar with a deck overlooking the Masai Mara and a dining tent featuring delicious dining options. Due to the prime location for wildlife sighting, BBC Earth’s ‘Dynasties’ and Animal Planet’s ‘Big Cat Tales’ are filmed at the doorstep of Governor’s Camp.
