Hotel in France
Four Seasons Hotel George V, Paris
An iconic, Art Deco classic, Four Season Hotel George V opened its doors in 1928, named after England's king of the time in recognition of the flourishing relationship between Britain and France at the time. Palatial opulence is still very much part of the property in a nod to its history and inside you'll find an outstanding art collection, exquisite seasonal floral displays and walls adorned with mirrors, marble and antique tapestries. Boasting three Michelin restaurants, an onsite designer boutique and a recently renovated spa complete with indoor pool, Hamman, state of the art fitness centre and a champagne bar, there is little reason to leave, but when you do venture out into the city, you are steps away from the famed Champs-Elysées. The hotel's prime position means that some suites offer awe-inspiring views of the Arc de Triomphe or Eiffel Tower.
