Recently renovated and reopened, Hotel Lungarno is welcoming guests back to its iconic white and blue haven in the centre of Florence. Reminiscent of a boat on the water, the lobby is suspended over the River Arno and as you see people drift down the river, feel the motion of time as you slow down and unwind. 65 freshly decorated bedrooms have their own terrace spaces that overlook the Renaissance grandeur of the city. With some of the finest Florentine artwork throughout, designer Michele Bonan wanted to demonstrate the constant flow of the river with the comforts of a home. As the Lungarno Collection have demonstrated across their other properties, exclusive experiences are at the heart of what they do. At Hotel Lungarno their most exciting experience is the behind the scenes access to the Salvatore Ferragamo Museum where you can experience the Hollywood story behind Italy’s shoemaker to the likes of Audrey Hepburn, Judy Garland and many more.
