Iwaso

Iwaso is a 160-year-old inn that has kept with ancient and historic tradition but does not shy away from modern luxuries. Located in the Momijidani Valley at the foot of the sacred mountain and the ever-clear stream, Iwaso features picturesque seasonal changes from the green leaves of spring and the colourful change in fall to the silence and serenity of winter which draw luxury travellers in and cause them to fall in love with the surrounding area. The beauty of nature can be enjoyed from the accommodations featuring a traditional Japanese atmosphere. Guests are invited to stay in ‘Hanare’ Wooden cottages, each uniquely designed and different from the next.
