Hotel Nelligan
Set on an island of the Saint Lawrence River, Hotel Nelligan sits on the rue Saint-Paul in Montreal. Comprised of four buildings dating back to the mid-nineteenth century, the hotel is situated between ample locations to enjoy drinks, dining, and entertainment. Historical looking on the outside, the hotel features a modern interior complete with fountains and vegetation in the lobby. Similar to the entrance, the rooms preserve the original stone walls with modern touches to create a grand setting. Although there are extensive amounts of bars and restaurants around Montreal, Hotel Nelligan offers three unique eateries within the hotel. One restaurant features contemporary cuisine showcasing the local merchants. Everything offered is made from fresh ingredients. Additionally, the hotel houses a charming pub-like restaurant complete with happy hours, a raw bar, and tasty late-night eats. A trip to Hotel Nelligan would not be complete without visiting the restaurant with a view of the Notre-Dame Basilica, St. Paul Street, and Old Port. The gorgeous scenery of the hotel’s surroundings would be a shame to miss.
