Some of the greatest masterpieces of European history are found in Florence, Paris and Verona. The greatest mountains and glacial landscapes are found in Zermatt and St Moritz. For this itinerary we have carefully combined the two to create an itinerary through Europe that will allow you to experience Europe’s treasures, both natural and man-made. Marvel at the Renaissance’s greatest minds in Florence as you see their world-famous works from Michelangelo’s “David” to Botticelli’s “Birth of Venus”. Travel to Verona and see the town that inspired Shakespeare’s most famous work before making your way to St Moritz and Zermatt to see the Matterhorn and the sublime beauty of the Swiss Alps. Conclude your sojourn through Europe in Paris where you will experience the majesty of the Palace of Versailles and walk in the footsteps of royalty before taking a trip to the top if the Eiffel tower, appreciating human engineering and the labour required to create this exceptional monument.
