Villa in Italy
Villa Buonconveto, Tuscany
Villa Buonconvento sits peacefully and privately on a beautiful estate but is located just outside the medieval walled town of Buonconvento - or “happy, lucky place” - one of the most beautiful small villages in the region. This villa was originally the vision of the prestigious Chigi family and was depicted by well-known Sienese architect Baldassare Tommaso Peruzzi. Over the centuries it has been expanded, and whilst respecting the historic design the entire property was newly restored. Each of the seven bedrooms have been thoughtfully furnished in a contemporary and luxurious fashion. Hanging off the hilltop is a travertine infinity pool, guaranteeing breathtaking views. The grounds also feature stunning Italianate gardens at the entrance to the house, its own private lake and an even a full sized bocce court. It is hard not to be dazzled when night falls, as the grounds shine bright from candles and fire pits.
