The Captain's House, Osea Island
Osea Island is an idyllic haven of peace and tranquility basking serenely on the Blackwater Estuary. Sitting right on the water's edge with magnificent views along the beach and across the estuary is The Captain's House. It has been built in a cool beach house style that's more reminiscent of the USA or the Caribbean than the UK. This capacious, superbly sited house is It is coolly done out with four-poster beds, leather sofas, freestanding baths, exposed floorboards, antique books, old copies of National Geographic, and a colonial feel, thanks to artfully arranged old suitcases and black-and-white framed photos of yachts.
