Jean-Michel Cousteau Resort Fiji
This resort was formerly a coconut plantation and has just 25 bures (Fijian bungalows) on 17 acres of land. For travelers that want to disconnect to reconnect, this is the perfect place to be. The bures don't have telephones and celebrate the natural beauty found in Fiji. The hotel has a plethora of water activities for those who love beach holidays with stellar snorkeling and diving. In addition, the hotel also has two resident marina biologists and educational kids programs. You will also get to experience the culture through the dining; the hotel offers a traditional Fijian 'lovo' feast where many of the dishes are prepared in a firepit covered with banana leaves. There is also a dining room overlooking the stunning waters of Savusavu Bay, so you can enjoy the picturesque views from all areas of the resort. You can also unwind at the spa which is just steps away from the beach.
