This road trip spans three of America’s most scenic states; travel from the lush, mountainous Colorado across into the stunning red vistas of Utah and Arizona. You will spend 2 nights holed up in the Rocky Mountain town of Crested Butte, explore famous Elk Avenue and take advantage of one of many activities on offer such as kayaking, hiking or biking. You’ll then drive to the gorgeous Dunton Hot Springs – one of our favourite properties in the USA. This resort has been restored from a 1800s ghost town and benefits from its stunning location in the San Juan Mountain range of the Rockies. You’ll be perfectly reinvigorated after your time here and will head into Utah to explore the iconic Monument Valley Navajo Tribal Park. Amangiri beckons for 2 nights after this and is perfect for desert relaxation in Canyon Point, Utah. You will then leave for Arizona taking in the famous boulders of Sedona before ending your trip in the desert sunshine of Scottsdale. We love the variety of scenery offered on this road trip – from the lush mountains of the Rockies to the stunning red boulders of Sedona, Arizona.
