What was once a private seaside residence for a Lima aristocrat has since been transformed into Hotel B, a luxury hotel brimming with charm.
The Hotel
The building itself dates back to 1914 and is a beautifully restored Belle Époque mansion with a grand white facade, high ceilings and bundles of old-world elegance. Intimate and exclusive, each room is a stylish hideaway from the buzz of the city and maintains a characterful, boutique ambience. Art is rooted in the property design, with over 300 originals from Peruvian and Latin-American artists featured throughout guest rooms and public spaces.
Amenities & experiences
Beside revelling in the curated art tours and in-house art shop, guests may find themselves unwinding in one of the many social spaces, with Hotel B forming what feels like a cultural hub. Thanks to its wonderful location in the bohemian Barranco district, the hotel is surrounded by art galleries, cafés, boutique shops, the coast and museums.
Dining & drinking
With a focus on native ingredients and Peruvian cuisine, the restaurant, bar and lounge serve as a place for traditional service with a feeling of Old Lima. El Comedor is the main restaurant, while the Living Room, Library & Patio, Executive Lounge and Sundowner Deck are additional spaces where light bites, cocktails and coffees can be enjoyed.
