Rustic French charm and upscale elegance, Hotel du Couvent is the perfect blend of exactly that.
The Hotel
What was originally a convent in the 17th century now stands as a beautifully restored retreat. Its down-to-earth, understated elegance is something we love – and we think you will too. So for those seeking a refined escape from the buzz of the Côte d’Azur, this eclectic property in Old Town Nice is everything and more. Wander through flower-filled gardens and charming courtyards to find your room, of which there are 88 that are split across four buildings. Paying homage to its heritage, many of the rooms have original features, and the decor is carefully considered – think limewashed walls, natural textures, linen accents, warm woods and terracotta floors. Open the shutters and greet the day from the characterful, large, arched windows, quaint balconies, or unique gardens and terraces.
