    Nobu Ryokan Malibu

    The Ludlow

    In the Lower East Side, The Ludlow is the newest kid on the block but has fit into the scene here like it has always been there. A member of the design hotel’s collection, the 1980’s contemporary interiors are paired with the industrial loft architecture. Oversized windows in each bedroom make for light and airy interiors that overlook this alternative New York suburb. Distinctly ornamental, the beds are four-poster indo-portugese inspired and the lamps come from Morocco, paired with Persian rugs and exposed wooden beams making bedrooms that are a beautiful as they are comfortable. With some benefiting from balconies and private terrace spaces, it is a great way to enjoy the new York skyline as the sun sets over the city. Vintage flea market furniture adorns the hotel’s restaurant, Dirty French, which serves up traditional dishes from France and America.
