The real Alaska smells like smokey log fires, looks like cedar tree cabins and feels like crisp cold air in the mornings. This Alaskan lodge adventure will show you the raw elements that create such a breath-taking country; you will stay in the heart of nature with fresh grass beneath your feet and snow-capped mountains towering above your heads. Each lodge offers the charm and character of Alaskan traditions whilst providing authentic comfort and luxury. As you wake up in your log cabin overlooking the Big River Lakes in Redoubt Bay, or the Tordillo Mountains in Winterlake, you know you are in for a day of excitement and adventure. From scaling glaciers that formed thousands of years ago in a sleek helicopter, to bear watching in the wilderness with a picnic in hand, or discovering more about Alaskan culture in a cooking class tailored to your tastes - each day is different, and each day is your own.
