Set among 28 acres of Australian bushland at Mount White, just 45 minutes from Sydney, The Grand Saddles Lodge is a new luxury retreat bringing together private villas, fine dining and restorative wellness. Opening in spring 2026, the intimate lodge forms part of the established Saddles Mount White precinct, close to the Hawkesbury River and the Central Coast.
The Lodge
The Grand Saddles Lodge will comprise just 20 private villas, each nestled among the surrounding bushland with separate living spaces, an open fireplace, private terrace and plunge pool. Interiors by Michelle Leslie and White + Dickson Architects combine sandstone, spotted gum, warm brass and locally crafted furnishings, creating a contemporary retreat with a distinctly Australian character. A communal infinity pool and pool bar offer another place to relax among the trees.
Amenities
Dining is central to the experience, with the lodge’s restaurant celebrating Australian produce, including local seafood, organic beef and poultry, alongside ingredients grown in the property’s herb and vegetable gardens. For evenings, Ned’s is an intimate Art Deco-inspired piano bar serving classic cocktails and hosting live jazz. Wellness is centred around a dedicated spa with five treatment rooms, traditional and infrared saunas, ice baths and treatments inspired by native Australian botanicals. Beyond the lodge, guests can explore walking trails through the surrounding bushland, visit nearby oyster farms and discover the Hawkesbury River and wider Central Coast.
As the latest addition to the Saddles Mount White precinct, The Grand Saddles Lodge offers a secluded country escape within easy reach of Sydney, combining contemporary accommodation, Australian dining and nature-led experiences in a distinctly local setting.
