Home to eight out of the ten tallest mountains on Earth, including the mighty Mount Everest straddling its border, this tiny land-locked nation is a place of mystic awe and a paradise for elite mountaineers the world over, and yet the magic of the Himalayas can be enjoyed by everyone, and Nepal has much more to offer. The birthplace of the Buddha, Nepal has a colourful and vibrant capital in Kathmandu, also known as the City of Temples, which is surrounded by lush green valleys and brimming with spice markets and bright bustling bazaars; the perfect place to introduce the culture, warmth and kindness of the Nepalese people. The elusive Royal Bengal tiger rules over Chitwan National Park, living alongside the rare one-horned rhino, elephants, and sloth bears within the jungle and down the winding river plains, making Nepal a spectacular and unique wildlife destination in its own right.

  • Hop into a helicopter for a bird’s eye tour of the Himalayas, where you will touchdown to take a photo of Mount Everest and the other majestic peaks surrounding it
  • Visit Boudhanath Stupa, recognised as the centre of Tibetan Buddhist culture in Kathmandu, accompanied by a senior monk
  • Take part in a jeep safari and observe the endangered one-horned Rhinoceros and the Royal Bengal Tiger in Chitwan National Park
  • Enjoy Sundowners whilst relaxing by the wild Rapti River during sunset
  • Explore the magnificent Indreshwor Temple, one of the oldest and largest Pagoda style temples in the world
  • Indulge in some you-time with meditation and yoga lessons amongst the lush green hills of Dhulikhel

Dwarika’s Hotel, Kathmandu

Heritage Deluxe Room | Full Board | 2 Nights

This independent boutique heritage hotel was inspired by the Palaces of the Newar Kings, and features a balance between traditional architecture and modern amenities. Interiors are filled with local artefacts, even the windows which are adorned with beautiful antique wooden frames, each saved by the owner from being sawn for firewood. Guests can cool off after a day’s touring in the ornate swimming pool, followed by dinner at Krishnarpan, specialising in Nepalese cuisines or perhaps the Japanese dishes at Mako’s.

Meghauli Serai by Taj, Chitwan National Park

Meghauli Room National Park View | Full Board | 2 Nights

This safari lodge is perfectly positioned for spotting rhinos, Bengal tigers, elephants, sloth bears and more either by jeep or alternatively by boat along the Rapti river. The property was designed with a nod to the local Tharu tribe’s homes with elements of mud walls and thatched roofs, and the 16 villas are well appointed and refreshingly chic, with fabulous views of the river beyond as well as having private plunge pools, ideal for relaxing after an early morning game drive.

The Dwarika's Resort, Dhulikhel

Junior Suite with Terrace | Full Board | 3 Nights

This tranquil all-suite countryside resort focuses on wellbeing and relaxation, an ideal place to unwind and enjoy the spa and many facilities at the end of an adventure packed trip. The resort was built almost entirely from natural materials which gives the resort a rustic edge, and the rooms all feel very private, many with terraces offering spectacular views reaching out over the Himalayas, a view also enjoyed at the Zero Zone Bar which has a glass wall especially for this reason.
